Subsequently, the delegation continued to visit the AI Education Lab (E-1/F-07) and listened to the LTTC Large Language Model (LLM) Studio’s recent work. LTTC colleagues briefly introduced two recent workshops on LLM applications to support academic research and writing and design smart workflows for learning and teaching. They also demonstrated the newly launched LTTC LLM Studio Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, a low-threshold solution for educators to create customised workflows, which could be empowered by various LLMs and self-curated vectorised datasets. These workflows can be deployed and published as web pages or application programming interfaces (APIs). During engaging discussions with LTTC colleagues, delegates exchanged ideas on integrating LLM into various educational contexts.
Dr Lee Ju Seong, Acting Head of the ELE, expressed that the visit to the LTTC showcased EdUHK’s educational excellence to our partner institute.
